I thank You, Father, that You are good.

I thank You that You are sovereign over all.

I thank You that You know all things.  Your thoughts and Your ways are infinitely higher than mine; therefore I can trust Your plans and purposes.

I thank You that You are light, and in You is no darkness at all.  I thank You that You have revealed Yourself through Your voice, Your actions, Your Word, Your Son, and Your Holy Spirit.

I thank You that my faith is not dependent on my circumstances, but on the certainty that You are working all things together for good because I love You and You have called me according to Your purpose.

I thank You that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness, that I can do all things through You because Your grace is sufficient for me.

I thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  I can depend on You to be true to every promise, every one of which is “yes” in Christ.

I thank You for Jesus, who took my sin and its consequences for my sake, out of an incomprehensible love for me while I was still a sinner.

I thank You for Your Holy Spirit, whom You gave as a deposit guaranteeing my inheritance.  Flawed as I am, He never leaves me or forsakes me, and continues to guide and guard, and to lavish Your love on me.

I thank You that You know me completely and love me anyway.

I thank You that Your love for me is everlasting, that You long for relationship with me, and that Your desire and purpose is to bring me to spend eternity with You.

I thank You for blessings too many to count; but above all, for the unsurpassed blessing of knowing You.
